Gentle Annie Hot Tubs

Relax and enjoy views to the ocean and beyond, soak up the sunsets, marvel at the night sky, while surrounded by Gentle Annie’s lush nikau bush.

• One 3-hour session is held in each of the 3 hot tubs every evening, with sessions held from 6pm-9pm. 
• We have 3 tubs available – Tahi, Rua, Toru.
• Each hot tub sits 4-6 people. Bookings are for a maximum of 6 people.
• Firewood is supplied onsite.

To book a session, bookings can be made online via the Bookings Tab (please note, we will not take bookings for Hot Tubs over the phone).

Bookings for hot tubs need to be made before 1pm for Same-Day bookings.

Hot Tubs Terms and Conditions
To enjoy your hot tub experience at Gentle Annie you will need to abide by the following:

• The Hot Tub will be heated to approximately 38-40 degrees at the start of your session. When you arrive please check and adjust to the desired temperature by running the cold water tap. Have an adult test the water temperature before a child uses the tub.
• Children under the age of 16 must have constant adult supervision.
• Take care when entering and exiting the hot tub as surfaces can be slippery.
• Avoid touching the submerged fire box and flu as these can become hot.
• If you have any underlying health conditions such as epilepsy or heart disease,
• check with your doctor before using the tub.
• Alcohol consumption is not recommended and no glass is permitted in the hot tubs area. 
• No intoxicated persons are allowed in the hot tub. 
• Be sure to keep hydrated by drinking water regularly to avoid dehydration.
• The hot tubs are not suitable for pregnant women or children under 5 years of age.
• Both the Operator and any Agent exclude, to the fullest extent possible under law, all and any liability for any loss, damage or injury (whether direct or indirect or consequential, however arising) suffered by the Guest or any person associated with the Guest in relation to the booked activity. All activities have elements of risk and all guests undertaking any Activity do so voluntarily and at their own risk. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, all warranties, representations and implied terms are also excluded.
• The Operator reserves all rights to cancel any Activity at their discretion for (but not limited to) any of the following reasons:
• Road or weather conditions.
• Unsuitability of Guest(s) due to reasons such as: Age, Ill health, Poor fitness, Intoxication or any other reasons rendering a Guest unsuitable or unfit to participate in the activity.
• Any other circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of the Operator. All Guests agree to adhere to any instructions in relation to the Activity from the Operator at all time.

Cancellation Policy

Because we need to clean, fill and heat our guests’ tubs in anticipation of their arrival, we incur almost all our costs prior to your arrival. Therefore, we require 24 hours’ notice of cancellation in order to avoid the needless expense of heating tubs.

Guests who cancel their booking within 24 hours of the appointed booking time, or who fail to arrive for their booking, will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the price of the guests’ booking.

Sessions are not weather dependent and cannot be cancelled because of rain-a hot tub experience is just as, if not more fun in the rain!
